CONTROLLER & SOFTWARE

Real time closed-loop digital servo-controller, that together with test management software in its standard version (RTEST) or customised for tailored solutions, allow carrying out static, fatigue and dynamic tests, uni or multi-axial on materials, components, assemblies and systems, with several driving technologies:

  • servo-hydraulic
  • servo-pneumatic
  • servo-electric
  • electro-mechanic

Three different controller versions are available: vertical cabinet (with screen, keyboard/mouse built in), low cabinet and compact (desktop) versions.

ENCOPIM’s compact digital servo controller (SCDC) is designed for static, fatigue, and dynamic tests, uni or multiaxial, on materials, components, assemblies and systems, and suitable for a variety of actuating Technologies.

The test management (parameter settings, results display and analysis) is run by RTEST, user-friendly software featuring advanced closed-loop control algorithms, installed on an external Laptop or PC linked to the SCDC via Ethernet.

Multi-platform (Windows, Mac, Linux, Unix..) software for a wide range of applications: from a simple data acquisition to complex multi-axial fatigue tests reproducing inputs taken from real service, from static uni-axial tests to repetitive dynamic tests.

Allowing simultaneous tests, choosing for each one those sensors and actuators required. For the sensor calibration 3rd degree polynomial.

Control Algorithms

Including: Classic and Cascade PID, and optionally NLAC (Non- Linear Adaptative Control).
The NLAC (Non-Linear Adaptative Control) is a new algorithm specially aimed at non-lineal
systems, such as the servopneumatic ones, for fatigue tests with cyclic solicitations with a minimal deviation on the required signal, as regards both peak values and phase difference. As the iteration to adjust the response is a real-time process, any deviation due to disturbances or sample deterioration can be automatically corrected.
